This policy explains what LazyEdits Ai (“we”, “us”) collects when you use lazyedits.com and app.lazyedits.com, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We use your Google account as your account ID.
- Content you upload. Videos, audio, images, logos, subtitles and voice samples that you upload so we can process them. Files are processed on our server to create your edit and your export.
- Usage and billing data. Your token balance, plan, expiry date and a history of token use (for example, exporting a video).
- Technical data. A session cookie that keeps you signed in, and basic server logs (IP address, browser type, time of request) used for security and to fix problems.
- Messages. What you send us by email.
How we use it
- To provide the Service: transcribe your speech, plan and build your video, render and export it.
- To manage your account, plan and tokens.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
- To answer your questions and give support.
Service providers who process data for us
To run the Service we send the data needed for a task to providers, for example: speech-to-text and AI language providers (your transcript and instructions), a voice provider (your voice sample and the text you ask us to speak, only if you use voice features), Google (sign-in), and our hosting provider. We send them only what is needed for the task. We do not sell your personal data.
Your voice
If you create a cloned voice, the sample you upload is used to create that voice and the voice is tied to your account. Only upload your own voice, or a voice you have permission to use. You can ask us to delete your voice at any time.
How long we keep data
Uploaded files and temporary renders are kept only as long as needed to create your video and are removed regularly. Projects you save are stored in your browser or in a folder you choose on your own computer. Account and token records are kept while your account is active and as needed for accounting and security.
Cookies
We use a cookie that keeps you signed in. The app also keeps settings in your browser’s local storage. We do not use advertising cookies in the app.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to close your account, by writing to contact@lazyedits.com from the email address of your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.
Children
The Service is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to our servers. No system is completely secure, so keep copies of your original files.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
