How to Translate Your Videos into German, French, Spanish and Portuguese

One video can reach viewers in many countries when it speaks their language. The audience is large: German, French, Spanish and Portuguese speakers watch a huge amount of online video, and many prefer content in their own language.

Captions first, dubbing second

The fastest start is captions. Open the Timestamps tab, choose a language and press Translate. Then make captions in that language in the Captions tab. Switching language replaces the old captions, so they never pile up.

Then dub the voice

For a bigger effect, dub the video. Choose a ready voice for the language, such as a German, French, Spanish or Portuguese voice, or use your own cloned voice. LazyEdits keeps every sentence and lengthens the picture where needed.

Tips for better results

  • Speak clearly and keep sentences short.
  • Keep brand and product names the same. LazyEdits keeps repeated names unchanged.
  • Read the translated lines once and fix anything that sounds odd before you dub.
  • Export one version per language and name the files clearly.
